When Chet Atkins and Roy Clark are just sitting there in awe of you - well, that's something else.
Brad Pussley is country??!! He wouldn't make a wart on a monkey's butt compared to the others!Apache said:
Guys like Jerry Reed, Glen Campbell, Brad Paisley & Roy Clark may get dismissed because they are country.... but those guys can shred the guitar on par with any rock god like EVH, Hendrix, SRV, etc.

Didn't help that Roy Clark was on hee haw. A lot of his comedic talents distracted from showing off the virtuoso on the guitar that he wasApache said:

Yeah, but even then the stuff he did on that show was pretty nuts.DrEvazanPhD said:Didn't help that Roy Clark was on hee haw. A lot of his comedic talents distracted from showing off the virtuoso on the guitar that he wasApache said:

Looks like a few of you have never seen Brad Paisley in concert. The guy is an incredible guitar player and writes his own songs - admittedly some cheesy ones. But a singer songwriter that is a great musician and has a fiddle and steel guitar in the band... the guy is more country than anything that has been produced in the last decade.

And I had to pull out my copy of him playing Malaguena. The guitar had to have been smoking at the end of that...

Campbell's song about his dementia (I'm not gonna miss you) that he released towards the end will break your heart.
