Hey,

Anyone take any international electives they can reccommend? OR ones they would never take again?

For a list...http://maysbschool.tamu.edu/upo/handbook/Electives/international_elec.htm

Help me out...

I took HIST 402--Germany since 1815.

Definitely not an easy class, but manageable.

If Arnold Krammer teaches it, I highly recommend it. I took HIST 106 (America since 1865) and HIST 402 (Germany) from him. He is a great prof! I looked forward to his lectures every day--did not want to miss his class.

If you are looking to skip a lot, blow it off, and make an A, this is not your class. If you are interested in this kind of stuff and like a great lecturer, check it out.

I am game for that too EVA I just don't want to end up in a class that is B-A-D!

International Business Behavior...it's a sociology class. I don't remember the prof's name but he passed around international foods/snacks all the time.

I took GEOG 202 when I was still in School. I forget what prof I had, but she was incredibly dingy, but her tests weren't all that bad. I think I made a B in there without studying at all.

I would also vote for HIST 402 - however, i took it in the summer and it was a buttload of reading for a short semester. luckily, i wasn't taking anything else at the time and could devote the time needed to the class.

i also took GEOG 202 (being a GEOG major and all)...it would definitely be easier than Krammer's class.

I also heard GEOG 202 wasn't bad. I am thinking about taking it this fall.

Prof Pacek's Soviet Union (POLS 338) class is pretty good; he's a great lecturer and you can get a B with no effort (the route I took) or an A with minimal effort. I think it qualifies for an international elective, but I'm not sure
