I have met some really cool girls at the local bike rides/runs around town if you are into that kinda stuff. The Gym is semi-ok but there is that whole, "Please don't hit on me I'm at the gym factor"

Starbucks, the Bookstore. Those are good.

I also have to throw out that I'm probably the only one who thinks Aggie Happy Hours are terrible places to meet women. Just my opinion anyway.

Yes, Gym girls seem pretty uptight about the whole thing. Maybe they should put some fricking clothes on or something if they don't expect half the gym to want to spot them.

I am engaged, but I can tell you that nearly every time I go to the grocery store (I do the cooking, so I do the shopping and she cleans) I am in a position to meet good looking single chicks. Depending on your type the following locations seem to have plenty of hotties: (in no particular order)

1. Kroger- San Felipe & Voss
2. HEB- Westheimer & Fountain View
3. Randall's- San Felipe & Bering (I think it's Bering anyway- its right by La Strada)
4. Rice Epicurian- San Felipe & Post Oak
5. Whole Foods- Woodway & Voss
6. Central Market- Westheimer @ Highland Village
7. Kroger- Westheimer & Briar Forest (???)

As for bars there always seem to be plenty of single hotties on the prowl at:

1. Kenneally's
2. LZ Pub
3. Anyplace in the Village
4. Sherlock's
5. Red Door
6. Marquis II
7. Tavern on Gray

I am sure that there are tons of other places, those are just the bars I frequent most regularly.

Seriously- I don't consider myself to be anything special in the looks department (ask PSYLOCKE for an opinon- she is the only person I am certain I personally know here) and yet I am constantly meeting chicks. Maybe its the whole paradox of not being available so chicks automatically flock? I don't know...

Dude- I'm not married, just engaged. So the only ring I wear is my Aggie ring.

As for the grocery stores- I'm something of a budding gourmet so I go to Rice or Central Market pretty frequently. As for the others I typically go to the Kroger at Voss & San Felipe. I have only occasionaly shopped at the others, but still have talked to chicks.

I'm not kidding about the grocery stores either. Just last week I stopped by the Kroger on Voss & San Felipe and some chick started hitting on me at the deli counter even though I was all sweaty & nasty from the gym.

well, as a bachelor, i dont stray far from the frozen food section...but i do enjoy wine very much so maybe ill get lucky there someday

You don't cook for yourself? All you are going to get in the frozen food isle is the "Chunky Monkey" crowd. If you learn to do a little cooking then you may be able to find some select cuts in the gourmet foods section.

In all likelyhood if she's a drinker, she's willing to party. And remember- If she smokes, she pokes.

As for the cooking- learn to cook. Nothing gets the panties dropping like cooking 'em dinner and having a nice bottle of wine.

coolaide, its not that easy...first, you carefully place the eggs in room temp water, turn burner on high until boiling, once it starts to boil, quickly take off burner and let stand for 15 minutes; next, poor cold water over eggs to keep shell from sticking...then, reap the benefits of hard work and dedication
