A year ago yesterday I saw this guy on the SPCA's website and went and checked him out. Got him a year ago today. I don'tt think I realized it at the time, but I needed him as much as he needed me. He keeps me laughing, and I frequently think about how lucky I am to have him in my life.

He's NOT a morning dog. Sometimes I have to drag him out by his legs, so I can take him out. He does not like that. He sleeps late like a teenager

Getting close for sure. Fun fact: Chester will absolutely try to bite the vet techs when the trim his nails so they put a tiny lil muzzle on him. If I'm not in the room he does better though
