Couldn't keep a straight face when I saw "Stiffler's Mom" when I watched "A Series of Unfortunate Events" with my kids.
True story...back around '07 or so, a girl I worked with and I went up to Austin to hang out with a couple of other co-workers who had just moved up there. None of them were from Texas or had been to Austin before, so I told them about the Saltlick and we decided to go out there for an early dinner Saturday before going out in Austin. We're sitting outside at the tables waiting to be taken in and seated, and I noticed a lot of people were going up to the table behind us with pens and stuff, so I turned around to see who it was. The first woman I saw took me a few seconds to recognize, but it was Heather Graham, who was finishing off a bottle of Shiner. There was also a blonde lady with her back to me who turned around to take a picture with a couple of little girls, and it was Jennifer Coolidge, but instead of being quiet or calling her by her name, I blurted out with excitement "IT'S STIFFLER'S MOM!" She looked at me with a "go to hell" look while Heather Graham busted out laughing.
Salt Lick is ****ty bbq.
Super edgy take, man. Tell us how much The Beatles suck next.

I have no problem with The Beatles. I have problems with fools that think The Salt Lick is good bbq.

Yet you admitted that you repeatedly go there.

If twice a year is repeatedly, you got me. I keep hoping for it not to suck, I keep leaving unimpressed.

I mean, we all know it's not as good as what you make in your oven, but it's what we have until your wife accepts visitors again.

I watched some of "American Pie" the other night. It was eye-opening to be reminded what movies used to be like in terms of the raunchiness and blunt humor. I know it's become a cliche, but I doubt you could make a movie like that today.

Edited to add: And I laughed a lot.
Yeah, that's not true, it's just they don't waste movie theater time in movies that aren't going to make hundreds of millions. Netflix just released a movie like 2 years ago where the entire premise of the movie was a group of kids went on a camping trip and one of them is playing with a knife while peeing, chops off his ***** and they try to find a way to get him to the hospital before it rots too much to be reattached.

Netflix also put out "Game Over, Man" (movie made by the Workaholics guys) where one of the characters has their dick chopped off, as well. I think dick chopping is kosher, as it is symbolic of Hollywood emasculating their leading men. We do have several movies of women trying to get some dick, though. C*ckblockers and booksmart to name a few. Those movies are actually pretty funny.

I think most studios are done with "toxic masculinity", however, out of fear of Twitter mobs and the changing tastes of their target audience.
