I don't get the love for their queso. It's not bad, even tostitos out of a jar is good, but it's far from the best.

It's disconcerting to pay a premium price for tacos on cheap-tasting tortillas. I feel like our technology has progressed to the point that a decent tortilla shouldn't be that hard. Taco C has good tortillas on tacos half the price.

Torchy's isn't even top 20. I will eat there if it's convenient, but let's not pull any punches: it's fast food one step above taco cabana.

You don't go to torchys for real Mexican food....like asking for quality customer service from the cable company...

I go to torchies cause they give me a cheese covered-friedchicken- yes I'm fat "taco", and queso that either acts as draino or "you-no-poo"....either way its good, but will result in tears. I'm good with this, especially since the closest one is an hour away...

The Trailer Park Taco made trashy used to be good, back when they actually melted the cheese over the chicken. Now you get a piece of room temperature chicken that has been sitting under a heat lamp for an hour, topped with ice cold shredded cheese and wrapped up in an average-to-poor room temperature tortilla.

$3.50 weekend "hangover cures" - bloody mary, tequila sunrise, mimosa, or sangria - Good stuff!

The queso and the avocado salsa are great.

The flour tortillas, not so much.

I prefer corn because it lets the ingredients speak for themselves. A good flour tortilla will make a good taco better, but a bad one (such as Torchy's) will ruin it.
