The Tokyo Drifter is one of the best hybrid tacos ever.
And don't anyone give me grief about it.. I grew up in South Texas. I know Tex Mex. The Drifter ain't Tex Mex so don't start comparing it to barbacoa.
or like if you walk into a barber they should know you are only there for a beard trim and neck shave.Slicer97 said:Builder93 said:This is why you always opt for the corn tortilla.Beer Baron said:

My issue with Torchy's is that if you order a barbacoa taco, you shouldn't have to specify corn tortilla. That's a given. It's like going to a burger joint and having to tell them mustard only, no mayo, no ketchup.
I think they have their tortillas paired pretty well with the fillings. The problem is that their flour tortillas are lacking. Good for me I prefer corn anyway.Ragoo said:or like if you walk into a barber they should know you are only there for a beard trim and neck shave.Slicer97 said:Builder93 said:This is why you always opt for the corn tortilla.Beer Baron said:

They brought the Republican back when people thought they were making a political statement by taking it off

Torchy's was started as a taco truck in Austin, by a white guy, if that tells you anything.

Couldn't be said any better than this.
Is this a serious question? You must not live in San Antonio because it's commonly known that the Mexican food here is complete and utter garbage. You are better off with Taco Cabana or Torchy's than 99% of the local options, especially for breakfast tacos.
