I just found out my cousin, who played tennis in college and one of the healthiest/fittest family members just confirmed she has COVID-19.
She is located in Denver:
She has a high fever plus tight lungs and diarrhea.
She is 28 years old.

Sorry to hear that. Does she know how she got it or was it just community spread?
I just got clarification on that, the number of "beds" dedicated to people that have it or think they may have it are fullSeven said:
Wow they are already full? How many cases are there?

If shes otherwise healthy, she's likely to recover and be fine in a few days. It sucks but shes not in as much risk as others.
Might I interest her in some essential oils?
According to the CDC this morning...just shy of 70.Seven said:

She telling us this is the worst thing she has ever experienced plus adding the part that she has to be all alone and no one can see her makes it worse. She's scared and alone.
70? Where did you get that from?bodaciousbood14 said:According to the CDC this morning...just shy of 70.Seven said:

Yeah, I think lots of people are reading too much into the word "mild". Mild symptoms in this case seem to mean you don't need round the clock hospital care to survive. It doesn't mean you aren't still going to be very sick. I think too many people hear the word "mild" and assume it means a couple days of sniffles. That doesn't seem to be case.

Young, otherwise healthy people are at very low risk of this disease being fatal. The severity of symptoms doesn't change that.

But, we don't know the breakdown of "mild." Certainly this "mild" includes some very bad cases, including pneumonia, but is it 5%, 10%, 15%, etc of the "mild" cases? We don't know the answer to that. Wish he had some sort of information breakdown along those lines.John Francis Donaghy said:

Good news, I survived.
Bad news, I still post here.
It kicked my arse, but it was short-lived. I was back to normal in 4 days. I thought it was Cedar Fever.
