I just saw pictures of students holding large signs protesting this on campus. Seriously? It's a drag show. It's fun. Go enjoy it, and go to church afterwards. It will be okay.

As Christians, we believe that calling people ass clowns is part of A&M's core values.

Some of you are the scared little sissies you want to mock.
Drag shows mean nothing than entertainment.
I wouldn't go to MMA or Monster Truck ralllies. But I also wouldn't have a tantrum about them.
Just don't go

Do they think they're going to like bang on stage or something? They know its just wigs and puns mostly, right?

Is that the thing where people would go to Olsen and sing while closing their eyes, swaying, and holding their jazz hands in the air?
Telling everyone to shut the **** up and let it happen because it's free speech and stop whining about something that doesn't concern you, snowflake liberals.TexAgAviator said:

If 2 gay dragqueens bang on camera, is it lesbian porn?

I thought that stuff only happened at Reed
I'm wouldn't be surprised if there is some overlap with the group that calls themselves "Incels" (involuntary celibates). "One man, one hand"The Fife said:
Yep, I think it was YCT. IIRC there was a Christian organization that was pretty conservative too. Brothers Under Christ? From what I was told they were mostly conservative in groups but on their own anything goes.
Thinking back there was mover overlap between Baptists and conservative student orgs than anything else. Seems like almost anyone I knew who went to FBC Bryan or CS was in one.
Naw, they're just acting, so that would make them thespian lesbians.histag10 said:Beer Baron said:

Instead of stopping this, they should petition to move this thing to the Quad ...because, you know...

Wait what Brendan? So what exactly is the goal here? To all gather together to frown on the event and wag your finger at it? Seems like a waste of energy.Quote:
Political science junior Brendan Cassell said this petition was started by himself, the president of Texas A&M's chapter of The Knights of Columbus, and TFP Student Action to show that many members of the student body do not support this event and would like for it to be stopped.
"We're not saying that the people putting on DRAGgieland don't have a right to put on the show of course they do," Cassell said. "As students who uphold ourselves to a certain standard, we just want to make it clear that not all of us support [DRAGgieland]."
