The way he asked about the kid free part makes me think she didnt post the whole conversation. Sounds like she said hes the only one kid free for three weeks straight (oil field rotation maybe?),but hes pointing out that her days off have mostly been kid free, and she could have started laundry at some point.
She is a nurse who works long days. She has not been sitting at home kid free for 3 weeks.

One is a whiner; the other a jerk. Unless something changes, there is going to be some serious spousal abuse, or a divorce, or both.

I'm still confused about how an off day can be kid free if we are talking about a baby.

When I had a baby in daycare we never took the baby to daycare if either parent was off. I don't understand why you would do that unless we are talking about someone doing shift work and getting home in the morning needing to sleep and taking the baby to daycare during that time.

Dude comes across as a little ***** who can't even do his own laundry and give the mom a break. My wife and I pick up the slack when we know the other is dealing with a lot of stressful **** at work, isn't feeling well, or just needs a break. If she stops pulling her weight on laundry, I only wash my laundry and leave her **** in the basket. She starts to get the hint after a couple of days, and it goes both ways.

Waking up a working mom who is also nursing/pumping, and who is sick for anything other than an emergency is a dick move. Especially if she's the only one who is getting up with the baby at night. I can't even imagine how anyone would think that was okay.

The better question is why share that convo at all? Nothing like pooping on your spouse for all to see.

Also, if she's a nurse how does she not know what she has is called "the flu". And it lasts a couple weeks.

I think the general problem with this whole situation is the SO (not husband) - calling her over the google home and telling her to do housework.

This is NOT okay. Maybe if you sit on your ass every day and do not do anything around the house.

The google home would be on fire in the driveway when he pulled up from work. Or dumped in the pool.

She clearly deleted some of her texts to make him seem like the bad guy. Or else the 3 week thing makes no sense. She wants her friends to **** on her husband and take her side in a routine marital argument.

Also, why is everyone assuming he is even at home? You can broadcast to your google home from work or anywhere outside the home. And since it's dependent on weather, they need to do laundry while they can.

****ty way to ask her to do it, but this isn't one sided.

Actual influenza (not like when a hispanic person gets a cold and calls it the flu) takes about 10-14 days to get back to 100%.

Hmm. Well then that's a pretty valid reason he can't do it himself.....

THIS is everyone's argument. He woke up her using the damn Google Home - to tell a sick woman to do laundry.

I would NEVER do his laundry again.

Either way, ****ty tactics on his part but she deleted some of her texts out of that string.

Why is she at work, as a nurse, if she has the flu?

Based upon the information presented, and assuming that she has left nothing out, the guy's a d***** b**. But we all know we're not getting the whole story.

There have been a couple instances where I really needed to get ahold of my wife and her phone was on silent. After calling 10 times, I logged into the Find My iPhone app using her Apple ID and set off the lost phone alarm so she would pick up her damn phone and see that I called.

My husband and son both tested positive for flu B. Son is out of school for a week, husbands doc said out of work for 3 days (had already been sick 2 days, so 5 total).

I've rarely heard of anyone with the flu for a solid 2 weeks. Maybe someone who is immunocompromised?0

Husband seems like a spoiled brat that grew up in highland park that has zero awareness or appreciation for women and moms. The type of guy that has never done laundry and when out of clean clothes just buys more on family credit card.

thats why you shouldn't have kids so early in the marriage!

Sounds like they're on a schedule of some sort and the husband is trying to keep the schedule no matter what. I can see how this can be misconstrued as "he doesn't care" so she needs to communicate what she wants.

Why do you refer to the person as "SO"? Are they married or not?

If not, well there's your answer. People who refuse to marry but still purposely have children are selfish, full stop.

"I'll knock you up because we view the child as a desirable possession sort of like a pet, but I'm not making a lifelong commitment to you because I want to keep my options open" is not an enlightened worldview. It's an inevitable breakup, and a single parent household, and a short-changed child.

Predictable response to my comments: "BUT I KNOW LOTS OF SELFISH MARRIED PEOPLE YOU IDIOT LOLOLOL". I'm not saying that wedding vows are sufficient, but they are necessary - along with a mature couple who understands what those vows entail.

Fire away. I know that runs counter to the current enlightened conventional wisdom.
People live in a different manner than me and therefore they are wrong...

check this out and tell me how either of them are wrong

it has little to do with morality and everything to do with what the commitment of marriage forces you to face as a person.
