Kid was Hispanic. Sub is black

When kids are so emboldened to apparently believe they can behave this way, with no repercussions, we have a real cultural problem... and we do.

The sub "acted stupidly". I would imagine both of these individuals grew up/are growing up in broken homes with little to no positive male role models.

This didn't happen overnight and won't be resolved quickly either.

At the end of the day, both are being held accountable for their poor upbringing and I guess that's a positive.

Nobody said that it was okay....but there are certain steps that one could take to lessen their chances of getting their head stomped. A few of these steps would be not yelling at someone stronger than you to shut up and then swing at them first when you've made them angry.

^This is not hard to understand, is it? 15-17 year old students do stupid **** all the time - having babies, DWI's, etc., and are not exempt from paying heavy prices for doing said stupid ****. This young person learned a very painful lesson that they will carry the rest of their life. There are lots of crazy people out there ready to snap at any moment, so be careful who you mess with.

What the sub did is extremely wrong, and is going to jail, deservedly so. The kid doesn't automatically get absolved of responsibility, either. Now you can cue the "victim blaming" chants....you are what's wrong with society and why this generation gives no ***** about being decent human beings.

If the substitute teacher made it home safely to her family, that's the only thing that matters.

Agreed! A kid has no right to slap an adult, let alone a sub teacher!

Maybe you are dumb as your posts indicate, so I'll help you out. Stomping or kicking someone in the head when they are on the ground like that gets you a lot of jail time.
Add in that it's against a minor and the teacher is in a position of authority, and it's worse.

Teacher is a dumbass and there's no excuse for it.

But I have a hard time believing the student didn't do something to,provoke.

Look at the video above. It shows the student slapping at the teacher first. But the teacher should not have been in the kid's face like that.

To provoke being punched multiple times, dragged out of a desk, thrown to the ground, and then had her stomped on?

You are assuming a lot from my post. The teacher deserves jail time. Never said she didn't. Show me where I said the kid deserved it or that the teacher shouldn't go to jail or was in the right?

Bottom line though is that kid learned a valuable lesson that she isn't immune from getting her head beat in after making a mistake. Next time, don't make that mistake. It's like the guy who decides to walk across the street at a cross walk without looking both ways. Sure traffic should yield but it's a mistake to assume they will. If they don't yield, sure they were wrong. But you're still dead.

And women that get raped after having a couple of drinks should've known better too, am I right?

Go around as a kid yelling at adults to shut up and slapping at them and see what it leads to. Eventually you're going to run into the wrong person.

This has nothing to do with rape.

You stretched first with your crosswalk comparison, it's all stupid to suggest that stomping on a kid somehow has a positive aspect.

People just don't get it. Nobody said he stomping had a positive impact.

It's the attitude and yelling and aggressive behavior That can result in negative consequences.they both displayed it and they both received a negative consequence. One bashed in head and one criminal record.
