One day in high school one of my classes had a sub really makes you think .

Maybe you are dumb as your posts indicate, so I'll help you out. Stomping or kicking someone in the head when they are on the ground like that gets you a lot of jail time.
Add in that it's against a minor and the teacher is in a position of authority, and it's worse.
You are assuming a lot from my post. The teacher deserves jail time.

I'm waiting on CNN to report on this vicious race-induced hate crime.

That kid probably deserved It.
Sure you would be saying that if it was your kid
When that 15 year old says "shut up" and then swings at an adult....that teenager has opened themself up to that possibility (whether right or wrong).
So, according to your logic, if I'm an adult and a 15YO with 34Cs comes wearing a tank top and no bra, she is asking for it just as much so I just go ahead and rape her, right?

Kid attacked first, person that kid attacked defended themselves.... kid deserved it. Why is that even being debated?

I've read the posts here, but not sure if i've seen it - was the teacher wearing sweatpants? Is that allowed?
kid deserved to get their head stomped and thrown from their chair?CajunAg97 said:

It turns out that the student is special needs. You probably knew that already before making this supposed hypothetical.Mac94 said:
I'll add one thing to the discussion ... what if the girl was physically or mentally handicapped? Does that change the tenor here at all? And her injuries sound pretty serious .... just saying.
If this happened out on the streets, then I would agree with you. Although I do think her response is disproportional to the student's actions.CajunAg97 said:
The kid hit the teacher first, did you all not see the whole footage?
Maybe the reason she got hit was, from what I can tell, her face was close enough to the student's to get hit. I do not agree with a student hitting a teacher ever, but I also do not agree with a teacher provoking and getting in the face of a student like this one did. This lady was itching to unload a can, and unload she did.BoxingAg84 said:
You should be allowed to protect yourself. Aside from the dragging of the student and the head stomp, the response was justified. Teaching is a thankless job. But no teacher should be expected to take an assault from any student without responding.
The kid was seated and the response was not in defense but in anger, and so above and beyond what would be called for that criminal charges are absolutely appropriate. The teacher actually took the time to put her glasses down before she completely whooped ass. If there had been a quick, immediate smack back and that was it, I could understand it. But when there is a whole "hang on a second, I'm gonna put my glasses down and then come kick your ass", that is criminal.CajunAg97 said:

I'm not sure, but the venerable Mr Lehman from Kyle, TX (RIP) is probably spinning in his grave over the sweatpants as well.
