It's also not the hardest thing either.

My dad flew slicks in '68-'69, and I've onlu recently heard him talk about it. I didn't know he was dropping off Green Berets and other special forces types among his missions.

I'm a believer in accuracy through volume on the 240 from an M1151.

My daddy was a door gunner on a Huey gunship in 'Nam.
According to the old man, you actually have to trail them a bit rather than lead them since the chopper is moving at a decent speed....physics and all.

Was watching that with him as a teenager in the 80's and the "you just don't lead 'em as much" line was too much for him to take.
He's not a fan of the vast majority of Vietnam movies.... Hamburger Hill being a notable exception.
