I was in the same boat 9 years ago except the oldest was 3. You've got you're work cut out from you. Don't let any parenting criticism from anyone that doesn't have twins +1, triplets or 5 kids get you down. Keep your head up, it will pass and be great.

Mine are 12, 9 & 9 now. They are a blast, tough and independent. Mine were named:

3yr old was Sorry bud, but I've got both hands full right now
6 week old A was f*(& not this **** again
6 week old B was dammit now you're awake too

The wife and I didn't sleep for 3 years. We had some interesting conversations at 3am. Rule 1 protected, the woman gave birth to twins and can **** me up.

It does and it will, but one day you will look back and think damn I was so tired I don't remember any of it. Just try to remember to sit back and laugh at the crap you can't control and make the best of it. You'll have some good times.

We laugh about the time the twins escaped and we caught them running down the middle of the street.
The time they divided and conquered at Baskin Robbins (zone defense has holes)
The time they flipped over the rocker in the room during nap time blocking the door. When my wife finally made it in their room, they had smeared an entire jar of butt paste all over themselves and the carpet.
The time they dumped a gallon of Dawn in the kitchen. (Word of advice don't add water to it, get some dry towels and soak up as much as possible)
The time one them knocked out the others front teeth.
The time one of them dislocated the others elbow.
The time one of them broke the others arm.
The time one of them talked the other into swallowing a dime on the first day of school and you "found it on your birthday"
The time they both fell asleep on you on a Sunday and you had the best two hour nap of your life.
The time they hit you at the door with double hugs so hard you fall over.

Some of the worst stuff is some of the funniest. Hang in there, we were miserable, tired and happy all at the same time. It'll make you crazy but one day you'll look back and laugh your ass off at the chaos.
