Who makes the best fried chicken and why?

I say Popeyes because their crust is really crispy.

Bush's because they always give you an extra chicken tender with your order, and they have fried Okra as a side.

One day my brother and I stopped at a Chicken Express that was connected to a gas station. I stayed outside to fill up my truck and he went inside to grab us some food. He said that when he walked inside there was a long line of people and it smelled like ***** He went to get in line when he noticed **** tracks coming out of the restroom and leading through the restaurant. Someone had somehow managed to step in **** in the bathroom, track it through the restaurant, and none of the many people inside, workers or patrons, gave a ***** Never could bring myself to try Chicken Express after that.

Tuesdays are awesome for a reason.

I've never been to Chicken Express and KFC is gross. Popeye's chicken is pretty good and has the best sides of any other fast food restaurant.

The fried chicken at the Walmart deli is actually pretty good IF you get it fresh and not the dried out crap under the heat lamp.

Popeye's is the only one of those three worth eating at. Mainly because you can order shrimp instead of chicken.

The correct answer is Babe's, but that was not offered so Popeye's. Spicy and crispy. Or you can get it blackened.

You can get a biscuit or a roll with Chicken Express. The owner of Bush's is the nephew of the Chicken E owner.

I didn't know until very recently that Chicken E had a spicy option. My daughter and I stopped in to eat before going to a football game and when I ordered they asked if I wanted regular or spicy tenders so I went with the spicy. They were really good.

Since that was probably the first time I had ever eaten at the restaurant since we usually get drive through I decided to peruse the rest of the menu. I was happy to learn that you can actually get fried pickles or mozzarella sticks as your side. You aren't tied to just the green beans, instant potatoes, or fried okra.

Church's

I think they've only had spicy for about a year. It's pretty good. It's not Popeye's spicy chicken, but it's pretty good.

I haven't/won't eat at a Church's or KFC. Haven't in about 12 years. I will skip many meals in a row before eating at either one of these establishments.

The only thing I will eat at Popeye's is their popcorn shrimp and side dishes. See #2 about chicken.

Anybody tried Lisa's? Interested but they all seem to be in neighborhood's where I'm not.

Popeyes spicy. Wouldn't dare order fried chicken from any other fast food place. I thought everyone knew that.
