I'll admit, reading the random questions and answers section on the exchange is almost as entertaining as the GB.

I would suggest that only people that have X amount of posts on texags and at least 30% of those on the GB could join. With the statistics in our profile this should be easy.
Why??
Because it's not fun or easy to buy for someone who rarely posts, even less on GB, and has an even quieter wish list.

I like it when the lurkers and semi-lurkers join in. Can be a little tougher to search through old posts for bad ideas, but it gets them involved in the community.

I agree. And based on the last 2 years, I have gotten something from people that I really have never interacted with very much, but they gave stuff that was a "wow" type thing.
Maybe they did some semi-stocking, who knows?
That being said, I stocked my recipient "CIA level" this year. Didn't really influence my gift, but made the "Santa Card" fun. I hope!

I did not stock my recipient at all this year. But they will still be getting a good gift that I know they will want and some items that will give them a laugh.
Whose got time to bother to calculate that? What would be the time frame? And are you participating?
I'm finally back home after being gone for what seems like forever. Let the stocking begin tomorrow!

Because I have three different posters AND posters in the past paired with people in this exact situation. I was just trying to speak out for those in this situation to get a consensus for future secret Santa's. Basically opening the door for communication. I can see why you'd get your panties in a wad over my opinion though.
