Your view of what leadership is or isn't, and unstated no less, isn't the only or truest form of leadership.
There are all kinds of books, etc. on Marine Corps leadership instruction. They and the rest of our military services are literally renowned for it, and their teaching is based on centuries of experience.

If you're interested in learning about it, go educate yourself. I'm certain that it would do you some good. As for me, I'm done participating in this worthless exercise.

you spouted off about your training numerous times. Thought it would be easy to type of a couple of paragraphs summarizing your training. You certainly typed up as much trying to discredit your president's leadership skills.

What paragraph is that section? How to criticize your Commander in Chief: A lesson in leadership.

I think the most fun thing about the Trump phenomenon is that it highlighted how utterly hypocritical Republicans are.

I think it's also been entertaining (and sad) to watch Fox News go from being the conservative news network to full-on North Korea-style state media.

The whole lot of them have been such moralizing statists for so long and they campaigned against Clinton's immoralities for a long, long time. Some will still bring them up. At the same time they act like it's no big deal Donald is a lying, cheating scumbag who is as immoral as they come.

Because he's now on team R after a lifetime of being on team D.

Counterpoint: There are whole volumes of leadership material written by highly effective and decorated servicemen about how backwards and ineffective our military leadership is. Many are modern classics.

Turn the Ship Around
It's Your Ship
Extreme Ownership
and even Duty and A Passion for Leadership by our own Dr. Gates all talk extensively about the deep, systemic failures of our military's leadership methods and culture. Most do praise the cameraderie and brotherhood of the services, and talk about extraordinary individual leaders, however.

If Fox was anything close to NK style state media Shepard Smith would've been sent to the gulag over a year ago. Truth is, Fox is the only network (while yes, a right wing channel) that actually brings on meaningful opposition. All the other networks just sit around in a circle jerk and screech about how horrible Trump is (including the "Republicans" they bring on) 95% of the time.
CNN is an enemy of the state and should be treated as such.

First you call ALL Republicans moral hypocrites for voting for and supporting Donald Trump as president, now you are calling me a hypocrite? For what?

I am just going to assume you are trolling.

Not you specifically... just the millions and millions of Republicans who have been moralizers over the years and all of a sudden stopped once they elected Don.

Dude... I like you, but come on. First off, I'm surprised Shep Smith is still there. He straight up called out the rest of the network the other day and he is so not in line with the views of the average FNC viewer.

Fox hardly ever brings on meaningful opposition. If they do, it's usually some idiot who has no idea what they're talking about, so they can spew whatever argument while Tucker Carlson does that stare of his at them like they are eating mayonnaise straight out of the jar.

Sean Hannity seems to always invite the same super pro-Trump people like Dan Bongino on. His "interviews" with Trump are laughable.

Lou Dobbs is a nutcase who belongs in an old folks home.

Jeanine Pirro is the best example of NK-style TV on there. Her show is straight Trump propaganda.

Chris Wallace and Bret Baier are good, I've always liked them.

I'm not defending CNN, by the way. CNN sucks. Chris Cuomo and Don Lemon are insufferable hacks. Except Jake Tapper. He's a boss and I've seen him be tough and fair with both sides. He's a damn good journalist and commentator.

maybe one day you will realize that in politics the morals of the opposition are attacked while those of the person you support are ignored. We see this in primary races all the time. Candidates attacking each other and then offering support later.

This is nothing new and certainly not a republican characteristic.

Tucker, Hannity, Dobbs (isnt he on Fox Business and not FNC?) and Pirro I agree are definitely in the tank for the Don (isn't jeanine only on once a week?).

Bret Baier as you stated, Wallace, and I'd add Neal Cavuto although I have only seen him a few times are pretty middle of the road as far as cable news goes. And while I agree Tucker has on silly guests, people like Bret Baier will actually have on intelligent, informed people who are either left wing or otherwise in disagreement with whatever Trump or R person has done. The Five has Juan who is consistently voicing well-reasoned Trump opposition. Martha McCallum has on smart left wing guests.

Whereas nearly 100% of the programming on the other cable news stations (and lets throw in things like CBS and NBC as well) are as I stated above. Their "opposition" Republicans are people like Ana Navarro who are in no way there to try and make an alternative case, they're there to join in on the circle jerk and lend credibility to the propaganda because "look, even this REPUBLICAN disagrees!!"

The point I'm trying to make is that it's a little disingenous to pile on Fox News when virtually every other outlet out there is in opposition to Trump, his Administration, and Republicans/Conservatives general (unless you're a useful idiot like Ana Navarro or Jeff Flake).

And this is just TV. I didn't even mention the sleuth of "newspapers" that are the the same as CNN, MSNBC, etc.
CNN is an enemy of the state and should be treated as such.

I didn't vote for him in 2016 ... mostly because I didn't trust him to do what he said he would do. Honestly thought he was just pretending to endorse conservative stands in order to get elected, then be as liberal.

I have never so happy to be wrong.

Ted Cruz is still a better candidate for my views. But I absolutely will vote for Trump in 2020.

I'm not talking just about politicians. The snooty, moralizing Republicans used to pretend at the moral high ground... at least Trump's election has nipped that nonsense in the bud.

Our political system has digressed badly from what it used to be. When voting nowadays, it seems more like you are choosing the lesser of two evils than actually voting for someone who you think will really make a good difference.

Direct election of senators and states subverting the elector process are largely to blame.

When you take a big picture view it really is baffling how two people that were so hated and unlikable ended up being the candidates. Unbelievable it came to that.
