But, in that 3 seconds, you condemned 3 other cars behind you from getting through the the light. It adds up and affects everyone's commute. Better to piss of the one in front who is being rude than the line behind who are not.

And you are the reason we have traffic. Cities spend billions of dollars on traffic engineers to make traffic flow smoothly then one person sits on their phone through half a light cycle and ****s it up for everyone behind them indefinitely.

there should be an app that is location based and tells you when the light closest to you on your route turns green.

Watched an Audi this morning miss a left turn green because the ONE car in front of him was on their phone. Softy just sat there waiting and when the light turned yellow the car in front went and that was it. Thought about honking for him but that would have just confused the car in front of me.

You can be paying attention, but still for whatever reason are delayed enough to take more than a second. I have literally let off the break as it turned green, started rolling, but didn't hit the gas hard enough and have been honked at.

Honking at 1-2 seconds is pretty ridiculous. 3-4 I can understand.

If I see the person in front of me on their phone, I like to honk at them while the light's still red and watch them pull into the intersection.

and what's the deal with people who write checks at the grocery store?

I get more pissed at idiots who take my turn at a 4-way stop.

I don't get mad but will honk after a few seconds if its obvious you're looking down.

Now if I'm on a road and you do this at every damn light, I'm pissed and will honk at you while driving, especially if i can't pass because of traffic.

Happening once, fine, multiple offences and we're traffic fighting.

If your break lights are not off when its your turn, your getting honked at!

In most cases: Mad: 1-2/10, wait 3 seconds, and give a light double honk to get attention.

If they're attempting to turn left downtown where there is a clear no left turn sign posted: Mad 5/10, wait 1-2 seconds, and lay on the horn non stop until they go

No, not really. I have a lot bigger issues to deal with and don't need to waste energy on small ***** And it is all small ***** The sooner you realize that the sooner you will be a lot happier. Getting from point a to point b is the only point of my drive. I don't time the drive and try and break records, etc. It is all good and I get to point b when I get to point b. All that happens in the middle between a and b is incredibly small **** to let it affect you.

I only get road rage when I am bicycling around town and people honk at me. Wtf guy. Get out of your machine and let's fight.
