Is there any club in Houston that's even comparable? A comparable Latino dance club?

The key: 1) a DANCE FLOOR is huge
2) A friendly crowd

Big Texas in Spring
Rebels Honky Tonk downtown area I think has a large dance floor (however I was drunk when we went there and the only reason we went in was because I heard REK "The Road Goes on Forever" and drug my wife in. And there is a mechanical bull)

Rebels is called Daisy Dukes now. Their dance floor isn't very big, but they do have the bull

I hear that. About 7-8 years ago, Rebels was were we usually ended up after hitting the other Washington bars. Was in there the other day for a happy hour and it was weird being in that building with the lights on.

We managed to get a section of the Hall's dance floor when they demo'd it and took it around to various venues where artists were performing that we had seen at The Hall and had them sign it. Now it's a coffee table in our cabin.

I saw midget wrestling at the hall of fame. Still one of the most disturbing things I've seen behind a lady boy show in Thailand that involved a ping pong ball.

That's pretty cool. In hindsight I would have liked to have done. Met my wife there back in Feb. 2004. Been married 12 years as of May.

Haha I we t to one of those "shows" at the hall. It was awkward to watch.

But man do i miss that place. Lots of good times had there, met some great friends there, handful of nights i barely remember (or dont remember) began there (and maybe ended?)

Hall of Fame was awesome back in the day too. Met my wife there 35 years ago. I took some of the original dance floor that they were replacing about 1984-85.

In my 5 years at A&M back in the 80's, not only did I never set foot in that place, I'm proud to say I still to this day don't even know for sure where it was even located. And I'm fine with that. Just not my thing. That whole "Urban Cowboy " thing turned me off the new country crap for a lifetime. Guess I was the beginning of "New Army"
