I'm making his momma drink solely Dr Pepper during his first months so he develops a refined and mature palate from the get go
Went for a "walk" this morning. Looks like it was 325ft, which explains why my arms felt like they were going to fall off as the longest I did in the hospital was 150ft.
This experience has been really crappy for you to end up with, but to find a silver lining, you will have increased upper body strength when this is over.
Gotta find the positives where you can! If nothing else, now I have a reason for skipping leg day and doing only arm day in the gym in the garage.
Pace yourself. Steady build. Get some temp PT to come in if needed.

Starting 3x/wk PT on Monday which will seems like it will probably last through the end of the year.
When I went through both times my insurance would only cover 60 visits per year. You'll probably need them all, so I'd keep an eye on the count as you start to make progress.
It looks like I have 90 covered visits, though insurance is a fun confusing labyrinth to try and sort out what is or isn't covered like I mentioned earlier. I did just get a notification that insurance is assigning me a specialist because "we think you might benefit from one-to-one support"... so when that gets completed i'll use them to find out for certain and about the stuff mentioned via email.

No, i got 5 little scars where the robot went in plus a sweet cesaran one where they pulled it out. I'm sure y'all don't want me to post a photo of that.

I'm the one you talked to recently, they took my right lobe due to a kidney tumor pressing up against it.
It's pretty cool that the liver grows back after they remove a section.
You need to make up a cool story about your scars! You got in a gun battle with the cartel and came out the victor! Or you fell into one of those pit traps with the stakes in the bottom and survived.
I have a big J incision, it's about 24" long. I tell kids (and new friends that see it) that I got bit by a shark!!

My in-laws' neighbors are building a house and have a cinder block safe room being built. Her aunt asked me what it was and I told her it was the elevator to their basement and just kept eating.
My wife had to tell her I was joking! I don't even blink, just keep on trucking to get a reaction. My wife often has to tell me "people don't understand your humor, they think you're being serious". Yeah, that's part of the bit!!
