I sported these at Aggieland in 1992. Guess jeans cut off and rolled above the knee. I remember thinking this is one style that will never go out of style. This was after I cut off my nice mullet which I thought would never go out of style.

You really can't go wrong with whatever brand they have on the Walmart sale rack.

What you really need are some nice coach's shorts worn with *white Nike Classic Astroturf Field Generals (82) and tall white athletic socks with stripes.....


Adidas actually made one of the first astroturf ready cleats, but I can't remember the name. Converse made one that was popular around the same time as the Nike in the 80's so you will be so retro it hurts.....

What is best brand of black-weave belt to buy for jean shorts? I need a new one and the one I have has only lasted since 1991, so I would like one with better quality that will last longer.
