Sounds great to live in such a beautiful place like Denver. Major League sports, mountains, fishing, sking, good restaurants, breweries. I can't imaging hating on a place just for weed. In case you haven't noticed, it's been around for quite awhile. Other states will legalize it soon enough, because they can make money from it.

Whole Foods doesn't sell alcohol
I have yet to see it in public (it's not legal to smoke in public), and the shops just blend in with everything else.Dwide Schrude said:
Very open "weed culture" that I personally find trashy.

It's not even legal to sell in the county I live in. It's not sold statewide. Edibles are the big seller, which is way less trashy than cigarette smokers, which isn't allowed inside anywhere in the state.
What exactly is your experience? Sounds like you haven't a clue and are just regurgitating others' uninformed opinions.

If you haven't been there, the people are not talking about weed being the problem. It's the trash element it brings out around the dealers. At least right after the law passed, last I was there, the weed shops were like having a Dollar General or off brand 7-11 on every corner. Dirty, trashy, with broke ass clientele hanging around.
It may have thinned out by now, but that's how I saw it a few years back.
