I've always wanted some of these Die-Cast Star Wars toys they sell at Disney. Made from actual die-cast metal, the detail is great and you could totally kill a kid with one, like when we were young. The sort of thing I would NEVER buy myself, which makes it the perfect Secret Santa Gift!

Fedex showed up this afternoon and by some kind of Festivus miracle they managed to ring the doorbell without our 19 month old waking up or the dog running over because OMG STRANGER AT THE DOOR!!!
When I opened it on the other hand they were both wide awake and and wanted to know what in the world I was up to. Mr Awesome just assumed that it was for him because everything is his.
It's tamales, I finally get some for the first time since I moved away from San Antonio 10 years ago! I might share some with the others here.... maybe. This, coffee and getting rid of Sumlin and picking up Fisher makes a pretty awesome exchange this year.
I need to get off my lazy ass and get this taken care of on my end. Anyone want to watch a kid while I go take care of bidness?

I came home to find a box sitting on the front porch, so I opened it and found a letter from my Secret Santa
After reading it, and getting a few good laughs, I proceeded to open the Dutch oven box and found a couple of other goodies inside!
Thanks a lot, Claude!! The Dutch oven will be really handy now that it's cooled off, and I've been wanting to try the Trader Joe's hot sauce since the last few times it's been mentioned around here!
Now it's time to open those WCW card packs...

I got a few different Sting cards (he's my all time favorite), plus a few different Flair cards and both Steiner Brothers. Scott didn't look quite as scary back in the early 90s

Spicy pork are my faves. But beware, they are spicy, to someone who doesn't like spicy they would likely be off putting.

He's extremely cute but active most of the time and not always good at entertaining himself. He always wants attention which is why I hardly get anything done except for on the weekends. This evening I've mostly been pushing him around on this little train car, or tying some jingle bells to his back belt loop and chasing him around so he's actually pretty decent today.
Back when I lived over there we normally had regular pork. Thanks for the head's up, with the spicy ones I'll have to keep a glass of milk handy.
