Where are you seeing this? I can't find any mention of swings anywhere. I have reached out to our community manager but can't get her to point anything out other than what was in the letter I received.
Or are you saying I should try to have that text added?

I tried originally to store the swing in the garage but my wife preferred to have it out so the chains weren't left hanging. If someone from the HOA had approached me looking for solutions I would have been more than reasonable with them to work it out. I called looking for an explanation of my violation and got told all swings are bad. I hate that HOAs hide behind their managing company and just send their minions to send you threatening letters with no attempt to reach out. I guarantee you most HOA violations could be resolved with a simple phone call or a hand shake.

That's pretty much the whole story. They got upset about some patio furniture that you couldn't even see unless you basically climbed my fence and decided to send me a letter about the "violation." I sent them a responsive letter pointing out that they're idiots and any attempt at enforcement will be met with a restraining order and me collecting attorney's fees on top.marble rye said:blindey said:

Did this to my apartment complex when they entered my apartment without warning or exigent circumstances and then called to complain about the security alarm that they didn't install. Told them I'd be glad to discuss with them as soon the cops secured my apartment and wrote up the report from their trespassing if they still had an issue with the alarm. I wrote into my lease that they have to give 24 hours notice unless for an emergency. They were trying to replace the air filter - not an emergency.CJS4715 said:
