You know I've had a guinness in dublin, and actually at the brewery as well, and I say this is malarkey.

It's the same beer, everybody just says this so it goes to your head. You're in dublin, drinking a guinness, of course you're going to like it and think it's better. You're immersed in it.

My wife said the same thing, but then we she came back, all of a sudden she liked 'american' guinness.

The variation in taste is pretty surprising. I'd never consider Blue Moon to be a bad beer, not exceptional but never bad. I guess it hits some people differently. One of my worst is this:



Tastes like adding grass clippings to mediocre beer.

Any beer with pumpkin flavor tastes pretty darned disgusting to me.

Nothing wrong with Blue Moon or the Dunkel either.

How'd it take so long for Schaefer Light to be mentioned. When I has in high school me and some friends got a hold of a whole flat of Schaefer Light 8oz cans. Worst stuff I ever tasted and it made me fart like crazy.

A bartender gave me a red stripe for free once. I thought it it was one of the worst beers that I had ever tried.

Wouldn't drink again even if it was free.
