The team I played on was actually a professional women's tackle team. I actually played three years total...one with a team down in Houston (when I was still in grad school at A&M) and two with the team up here in Dallas. I played WR, QB, and S.
I actually really hated playing QB, although I do enjoy throwing the ball. There were just too many girls on the team that wouldn't take the time to read the playbook, so it was extremely frustrating to call a play, go to hand the ball off and then turn to my left only to discover they were on my right (because they didn't know what the hell the numbers meant in the playcall), only to get blown up by a 270 pound lineman (linelady?). Not fun.
#35 in the pic above was the worst offender. I eventually stopped handing off the ball to her and just keeping it myself. Of course, she would get pissed and gripe to the coach. #54 above was my favorite player. The girl could catch anything. She was a former basketball player and track athlete at a D-1 school and was incredible. She actually won some P. Diddy reality show to be his intern. Cool chick.
