What part of town are you in?

If you are in the uptown area (uptown = downtown) I am sure there are a handful of good choices I just don't remember all that many + I am sure they have all changed. Uptown was mainly only blackout late nights I didn't venture down there often in the daylight.

Montford dr could be a solid option. That was always a solid strip of bars that had a more young professionals vibe to it rather than the college kid/ed hardy types of uptown.

If you are around South Park mall there is a Taco Mac in that area. I mean food isn't that great but the place has 100+ beers on tap and like 300 more in bottles + each table has its own TV. I would probably only go here though if you are in the area.

There is a small little pub in the Myers Park neighborhood called Selwyn Pub. This isn't far from Montford dr either. Food can be hit or miss but overall used to be a solid spot. Good pizza if I remember right. One of the professors from the university up the street owns it (or at least used to) so you might see a handful of kids from that school there. Michael Jordan used to frequent that spot quite a bit, not sure if he still does or not.

Again, I am sure a lot has changed since I was there but maybe this will help and I am sure there are a ton of great spots that I don't know about / remember.
