DD's except on 50 cent pizza roll night at Gumbys

Not going to lie. Love all three. And visit all three depending on my mood since they all have unique items I like.

Gumbys... always paid the price the next morning though.

Gran Dandy's in south CS, which is basically just Gumby's with a different name, has 25 cent pepperoni rolls today for customer appreciation week

Been a DDs fan since the early 90s (when they were on 29th St. in Bryan). Had a ton of friends in HS that worked there and we'd hang out there for hours.

Hate DD pizza sauce but love the pepperoni rolls so much that when the OTL Houston stores closed (and good riddance to ours, because it was crap compared to the BCS store), I learned how to make them myself.

Thought they were substitutions for the real thing, then I was in CS for business trip and ordered some of the real thing for a treat. Realized that they've gotten much smaller over the years, and I like mine better.

Gumby's?? For real? DD every day of the week if you ask me. We ordered a lot of Gumby's only because we'd be drunk and stoned at 1am and that's the only folks open.

I really bonded to that hole in the wall. I went to double daves once and they forgot to put my pepperoni on my pizza. They can burn in hell for eternity for that.

Agreed. Back then that place was great. A cool hang out after Friday night football games. The other ones I have been to were decent but, never had the atmosphere of that one.

I had a pimped out Pontiac Grand Prix. Good guess though.

I must say I looked pretty good in my black and red Pizza Hut polo while getting out of my red and black Grand Prix.

No one at Double Dave's got caught dealing drugs out of the store, so at least it has that going for it. But Gumby's was the best when I was at school
