My DAD, during one of his recent hospital stays. This young man is now 92 years old as of May 2017, a WWII veteran and he served in both the Europe and Pacific theaters during WWII. I have never heard him talk of it. So proud of his fight for my and our freedoms. Thanks DAD! Love ya and proud you are still with us. He still drives to the office every day, although mostly to escape my mom at home. He is great at playing solitaire and opening junk mail. Still runs his own oil consulting business as well

My dad on Tinian. I think the war had ended at the time this was taken. He was waiting to come home. I notice he isn't wearing his dog tags (I still have them). Not sure what is on the necklace, perhaps a Saint Christopher's medal but then he wasn't religious, so I don't know. I do miss my old man.
