I know a guy with a Tech ring and it looks stupid. I see a few people from other schools with them but not many. Only other one I can think of that's legit is a West Pointer.

They say the same thing about us.
I have no problem with people wearing class rings from whatever college they attended.
The Citadel's is similar to ours. They also antique.
The only ones I side eye are people who wear their high school class ring regularly once they graduated from college. Either replace the HS ring with a college ring or don't wear any at all.
Other schools definitely make much more of a deal out of wearing their class rings these days.
It's only super lame if you didn't go there.

I have a buddy that went to the Citadel and they do have very similar rings. First time I met him he asked when I graduated from there because he thought it was the same ring.

my dad got his new UH class ring this past week. Balfour remade it for him. His old one of 35 years was so worn that it split in two. He was amazed at the quality of work balfour did and their ability to recreate it exactly like it was when he first got it all those years ago.

I think Clemson is big on their rings too. Their grads wear them about like Ags do, they just don't have as many grads.
Know some guys who wear their US Naval Academy rings. Not a bad looking ring.
Pretty much the only places where college rings are a big deal are the service academies and some of the senior military colleges (mainly VMI, Citadel). A lot of others have them, but most people don't buy or wear them. Some of the schools around the state (Baylor, Tech, SWT) have recently made a push to encourage them, but it's because they see what a big deal it is here.

Idk, but my BIL who went there in the 80s had his frat crest on his. Until recent years, he was one of the few non-Ags I knew who wore his class ring regularly.
Tceh ring comes with mushrooms or pepperoni slices as an option.
