Poison anything is a mess to deal with. I've never had it, but last year College Station got a bad storm that knocked down a ton of fences. My husband fixed lots of the elderly neighbor's fences and got insane poison whatever reactions that lasted 3 weeks. Tecnu helped when nothing else did.
Take scalding hot showers. It releases histamines and makes the itching stop for a few hours, at least. And it feels really good if you are a masochist.

This is the best feeling ever.
I still have faint reminders on my calves from something I got into cleaning up after Ike in 2008. Amazing what some little weeds can do.

That's what you need to knock out a bad case of poison ivy. Zanfel can be bought over the counter but the others must get by a doctor.
I'm going to try 2 bottles of red wine and an offensively large dose of opiates.
How is that different from every other Sunday night?
Go to the doc, get a steroid shot and then get some Benedryl caps and some caladryl Cream to try and dry it out.
