I'm not saying they should, but they could. For the same reason they send you a new bumper sticker every year. The ring is a conversation starter, it can lead to jobs and promotions, it makes kids want to go to A&M and get one some day... And it might be too expensive for everyone to replace. Doesn't sound nuts to me

Do you have your jewelry on your insurance? The deductible might be less than the cost of replacing the ring. Sorry to hear about it being stolen. My stomach clinches imagining it happening to me.

Sorry to hear OP, that really sucks.

If I know I'm gonna be taking my ring off, I just leave my ring at home. (If I'm going to the beach, the pool, etc.)

Ha, fair enough! Now if only this Monday would just move along a little faster...

Unfortunately it is only covered by insurance if stolen from my home. Won't be making that mistake again!
