They do need more Marcus Moore. It is really sad that when this kid graduated from HS, he was the best thing on that show...by far.

It's fun watching people grow up on that station. I remember Amy Wilmoth's first broadcast, and Chris Kuhn's too. Good grief, they were worse than Jon Brent.

Marcus Moore wasn't bad for a kid fresh out of high school, and he's gotten much better. I was really impressed with him speaking sapnish to a lady from Bryan.

I think it's more of what kind of camera CSAF. She would be great if she couldn't talk. Back to still photography for her.

The person I thought grew the most was Aaron Tuttle.

While we're bashing KBTX, someone please tell Aaron Drawhorn to quit looking over the top of his glasses. Its annoying.

i've known nothing but small market news my whole life and kbtx is far from the worst. some stations can get pretty pathetic.

agproducer - my only complaint right now is about that damn crawl about the Iraqi war that you guys run nonstop! go to kbtx.com for the latest war info? yeah ok, because cnn is for suckers!

Call me crazy, but I like to get actual news from my news programming without having to watch someone with ZERO broadcasting skills remind me how cute she is. If I want to look at hot chicks, I watch MTV or Sydney Moon clips.

Charlie Haldeman is great. He is an asset and his delivery is great. Aaron Drawhorn is a real journalist in every sense of the word. Darryl Bruffett, yes, he butchers some common sports names, but he and the entire KBTX sports department really care about local sports. You want any type of Aggie highlights, we'll have them, and that's a credit to them. Kandace, she is a total sweetheart and she works hard. This is her first real TV job other than being a spokesperson, so cut her a little slack.

About the HDTV thing, I understand your pain. We've been pushing for HDTV, and hopefully soon it will be a reality. As far as a time table, I can't really give you one.

As far as the crawl goes, I think it's supposed to be ending soon.

Any other gripes?

I've got a question:
Does Aaron really need glasses, or is he just wearing them to "get a certain look"?

He didn't always have them, and then all of a sudden he's wearing them.

They make contacts that fit almost any eye problem nowadays.

Since it seems to be a superficial reason, I lost a little respect for him.

I call BS on Bruffet providing Aggie highlights and sports information if you request. He never mentioned the Ags the day before a big game in '99 (happened more than once), so I called and asked why they were ignoring the Ags. He started yelling and went on a rant that they are only provided 2 1/2 minutes for sports and he couldn't make time for Aggie football. I didn't provoke this type of response. He is a jerk.

I picked up a copy of the Dallas Morning News yesterday and it had a story about the blackout that said it affected 200 people. KBTX was closer to the truth with their overdramatization. Goodness, how small do they thing Brazos County (plus some others) is?

Aaron needs the glasses. He can't wear contacts. I think contacts irritate his eyes.

Aaron didn't always need glasses. I guess you misinterpreted my post. He went to the eye doctor awhile back and found out he needed glasses. He tried contacts and they irritated his eyes. Therefore, he's wearing glasses.

And, no, I didn't go to Sam Houston.

How big is Joe Brown? I only see him sitting behind the anchor desk, but he looks like he could swallow Michelle in one gulp.

That was a perfect spring day for a blackout. Was like 70 outside, everyone ran to HEB for beer and ice and spent day outside on campus.
