I bought some roasted potatoes with garlic and herb at HEB a few days ago and I had to leave the kitchen because they smelled SO MUCH like weed. I hate that smell. Barf.

Uh, I know what you are talking about. Heineken smell like skunk sometimes. Weed smells like skunk sometimes.




It's because the Henys were chilled then heated ( for some reason) and rechilled. Meaning I would not buy them from that establishment. Henys should almost have no smell or a light lager smell.

Weed smells like skunk because it's good.

beer gets skunky because sunlight gets into the bottle. That's why beer in green or clear bottles is just about the only beer that gets skunky. Corona is the worst because it's clear. Bottling beer in anything other than dark bottles should be illegal.

No, it's likely brewed in Zoeterwoude, Netherlands, their biggest brewery.

Wrong, the Heineken that we get in the States is actually brewed here and not in Holland.

If you ever go to Amsterdam and actually try Heineken there you will be blown away at the difference in taste and smell.

Heineken here sucks, there is awesome.....smooth, no bitter taste or skunk smell, etc.
