Dude carrying 2 boot boxes comes out of wooded area behind the field...

Stands around awhile looking totally out of place...

Truck pulls up,an and woman get out, talk with guy, try on boots, cash is exchanged, truck drives off... Dude disappears into woods.

In a sense, yes. There are boots made of endangered animal hides which are legal to possess but illegal to sell. Sea turtle, certain types of shark, anteater, etc. Most are made in Mexico and smuggled over.

can you describe the dude or truck people?

seller was a brown, very young looking 17ish wearing black jeans and a dark blue long sleeved shirt (very out of place for a soccer field).

truck driver was 40ish, wranglers, pearl snap shirt, cowboy hat, white socks. truck had an empty flat bed trailer (which is where the trying on, cash handling took place). I didn't get a look at the woman, she had brown hair. They were both white.

There was a western store pretty close to there that was robbed last week. go to the police. they stole like 10 grand worth of boots.

But would they be in a box with a logo on them?

It took me awhile to figure out what kind of boxes they were until we saw them actually trying the boots on but there was definitely a logo. kinda freaky seeing a random guy carrying boxes with handles slinking around a kids soccer game.

Probably wouldn't be in a box, most of the guys I know who get sea turtles across just wear them and walk right across. Those are probably hotter than a two dollar pistol
