In Vegas you get c-notes, but in the rest of the world they're simply accounting for the poors.
I HATE getting a pocketful of 20s from those damned things. I actually go through the drive-through and make a withdrawal. You can't fit 25 20s into a money clip.

My lobby one has 10's I think. Yeah I thought it was awesome my first trip to vegas getting 100's out of the ATM.

If you carry a good balance, you can get your daily limit increased.

Your bank can make your limit whatever you need it to be.
Hm. I guess I just see no reason to have more than $300 cash on my person at any point that doesn't involve gambling or strip club, in which case I plan ahead.
I remember the bank in College States, before being bought out by Wells Fargo, had ATMs that would give out by $10s.

You can have your bank make it whatever you want. I raised mine to $1,000 per transaction and $10,000 per day.

When I live in Ghana the largest denomination bill was 20,000 Cedis which is equivalent to about $2. Going to the ATM sucked.
I hate getting anything larger than 20's and usually wish I could get 10's.

Nope but at many ATM's the transaction limit is lower than that because of the inability to push out a stack of bills that tall. And the use of only 20s is mainly just a convenience thing (for the bank).

False. They would not let you pull $10,000 out of an ATM, let alone from inside of the bank, without filing paperwork. Aside from that, the liability is too risky in case you are ever robbed or something similar.

yeah, but if you're using another bank's ATM, the machine may have its own limit

You can get your daily limit raised, but if I need more than $200, I'll just go inside or through a drive through. I don't like paying in cash because I don't like dealing with loose change.

I keep a few g's in my safe at home for that kind of scenario. Probably no room for that in a Manhattan broom closet, though.
it's not a question of room, but rather carrying some around because you never know what may happen
