I was about 15 minutes away from Gilmer a few weeks ago while going to Shreveport. I wanted to go through there but I couldn't. Maybe when i get back from this deployment I can handle it.

Bogata is the armpit of the world...talking about football games up there, they call their stadium 'The Swamp', very well named since it sits in the middle of White Oak Bottom. Their mascot is The Rebels, and they get their big Rebel flags and wave them all during the game. The only thing missing was the band should have been in sheets and burned a cross at halftime. Not that any of that matters, they only had 10 kids turn out for the team this season so they cancelled their program, don't know when it will come back.

Yeah we peobably do. I spent a lot of time in your dorm, both because i had to and because he was my best friend. I also like to BS with Bubba, Daniel and Matt. Joe cracked me up too. I learned a lot from the whole expierence. It hit me when i saw all the people that day in Gilmer. I realized that I had neglected a huge oppurtunity to meet so many more people in the corps and how much i prejudged people. I definitely would have done a few things different in retrospect. Oh well, live and learn I guess.
