Jacksboro, b/c no one knows where it is or gives a damn, so it hasn't been tainted by commercialization or suburbanization. Only 4,000 people, 2A high school and the only city in the county with more than 600 people.

**EDIT** Also, no wal-mart or mcdonald's, only a Dairy Queen and a sonic, and a 100+ year-old pharmacy with a soda fountain.

Wimberly (Blue hole and the Blanco River)
Gilmer (Upsher County Seat, Yamborie,personal reasons)
Salado (minature Fredricksburg with less German)
Any town in East Texas when the Azeleas and Dogwoods are in bloom
Unfortunately New Braunsfels has to be taken off my list because it is no longer a small town. It is unfortunate because it used to be such a nice place.

agz win how did Ft. Stockton slip in there? That's my hometown.
