SAN MARCOS {AP} Sheriff's deputies arrested a 31-year-old San Antonio man Thursday in the mysterious death of a Texas A&M University student who may have been lured to a fatal rendezvous via the Internet. Kenny Wayne Lockwood was arrested at a San Antonio hospital, where he was a patient, according to a written statement from the Hays County Sheriff's Department.
Police suspect Lockwood took part in the killing of Kerry Kujawa, 20, of Richmond, who was found dead last Wednesday on a ranch near Dripping Springs, about 20 miles west of Austin. He had been shot in the back of the head and his shoes and socks were missing.
Authorities said they believe Kujawa was killed shortly after he left College Station on April 7 to meet a mystery woman named "Kelly" from San Antonio he had met over the Internet.

Sheriff Chris Kirk says Bennett was shot while at Neil’s Hideaway located south of Millican on FM 159 around three o’clock Sunday morning.
After the shooting, authorities say friends took Bennett to the College Station Medical Center, but by the time they arrived, Bennett was already dead.
It’s believed multiple guns were used and Kirk says several persons of interest have been identified.

Investigators with the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office are on the scene of a shooting in South Brazos County that left 22-year-old Brice Bennett of Brenham dead. 27-year old Brandon Keith Richardson, of Navasota, has been arrested and charged with manslaughter.

It's an unfortunate incident for sure. But it's all these after hours places that stay open to the early morning hours of Sunday morning that the cause. As previously stated nothing good happens that early in the morning. All bars close after 1am so why wasn't this place closed? There these type places around in my county that stay open till 5am. It's ridiculous that these type places stay open. They can't serve alcohol, and I know they aren't going there to just talk and hang out. Probably don't have security, and no telling what goes on unsupervised in the parking lot. My guess would be alcohol consumption, drugs, etc. This kind of activity needs to stop before another unfortunate person loses their life.
