I do not condone actions labeled as a get-together which perpetuate the division between blacks and whites in our society, and I have not seen the flyers mentioned by the Craptalion, but I do have to ask whether the University and the Batt are perpetuating racial steretypes by assuming that the words Ghetto Party indicate that blacks are a targeted group. Ghettos have been around longer than the US has, in the past in Europe, Ghettos housed Jewish people. Also, is it almost time for the words african-american to quit being used or to start using the words caucasian-american? I don't know how you can look at someone and assume that they are a citizen of the americas. Finally, Jesse Jackson has gone the way of Trent Lott because he identified himself as a religious leader and offered marital advise to Bill Clinton, and then showed his true self by having an extra-marital affair. So in conclusion, this country has two rules which should keep most whites out of trouble, one, don't make fun of black people because past idiot americans thought that slavery wasn't immoral, and don't make fun of native americans because past idiot americans killed most of them and stole their land. I did neither.
