I picked natural because the antique looked too similar to the worthless high school ring I have. I didn't want to insult the Aggie ring.

I'm torn. The natural is pretty bright, but in the long term, it is gonna antique itself like yall have said. And I agree with the "why pay for gold if you want a brown ring" sentiment.
On the other hand, the crest stands out more with antique. Hm....

Another question - I am going to be here for more than 4 years. Say I graduate in Fall 2011 or Spring 2012. Do I use that year, or is it still acceptable to use 2010?

Whatever you want dude, I had the same internal conflict, I ultimately went Natural simply because I knew that I could easily have it antiqued if I regretted my decision.
Natural is bright but nice, antiqued is kinda dull lookin' but the design is much more defined.
When you go to the ring office to order they will have both there, You'll know what to do when you see them and try them on.
