+1 on Dead Solid Perfect and I remember the Black Hat Saloon, I believe it was the incarnation after the Silver Dollar and before the lease was sold to a pizza place (not Sparky's). The Black Hat Saloon brought in artists like Rusty Weir, The Lost Gonzo Band, etc. - usually on Thursday nights. It had a brief, but good run.

"Bucky Richardson, a former quarterback for the Oilers and Texas A&M, announced plans to open a Bryan steak house that will replicate the Aggies' stadium, with tables on a green floor painted with yard markers, murals of crowded grandstands and big-screen TVs in the bar 'so that when you sit in there it'll be just like watching a game at Kyle Field.'"

Wasn't Big Dog's owned by Bucky Richardson? It was in one of the buildings next to or owned by Tom Light Chevrolet, on Texas Avenue in Bryan.

It was funny watching the freshman stand in line to pay to get into Shadow Canyon so they could booty dance. When all they had to do was walk around into Hole in the Wall for free and cut across


Def, miss Hole in the Wall/Shadow Canyon all being one big place
