I would like to hear where some of you guys bought engagement rings. I know david garners and montalongos are both really nice but im wondering about the pricing. Are they more expensive than most other jewlers or about the same. Also I live in Fort Worth now so if you know any good jewlers in the dfw area let me know

I bought Mrs. JH's diamond loose, and then ordered a setting and had it set later. My stepbrother is also a jeweler.

Brett Edmondson at Besco on Texas is the best. I've bought numerous diamonds from him in the past. I highly recommend him.

Brett did the engagement ring, and wedding rings for us. After we bought the wedding rings, he went back and tweaked the engagement ring so that they made a little nicer set. He was very patient, and was extremely helpful in working with us to get us exactly what we wanted.

On top of that, he does amazing work. I didnt have the cash for a huge rock at the time, so he managed to design a ring that made the most of what I could afford. It looks a lot nicer than rings of similar cost and carat size from places like Blue Nile.
