He just needs to be hugged more, and perhaps tickled with a feather.

Boys need to be apart of a strong loving family to feel safe.

To feel secure and safe, boys need someone in their life they believe is in control.. Boy’s want to believe their dad is the smartest strongest badest dad on the planet for a reason. Someone in a boys life who is strong and in control means safety and security

Often boys will act out in defiance to "test" those in authority to see if they are worthy of their respect i.e. "if you can't control me, then how can I expect you to guide and protect me in this big scary world?”

Weakness in many boys life causes them to act out even more in desperation looking for someone strong. Gangs and guns often fill this void in many boys lives.

The strength a father shows by using a belt to discipline a boy shows that he is in authority and worthy of the boys respect. Discipline shows love and provides security. I know this is difficult for many to understand - but it’s how it works.

And then again, some kids are just nuts. You could beat them with a chainsaw and it wouldn't improve their behavior.
