we have a dog named "Aggie" -- daughter has a cat named "Sully" and another cat named "CharlieMoran". Had an Aggie Mom friend who had 2 dogs named "Whoop" and "Howdy".

A buddy had 2 dogs named Boom and Reload. Only down side to that is they got loose one day and he was chasing them down the street yelling BOOM! and RELOAD! at the top of his lungs...the neighbors must've thought he was nuts.

Our old Springer Spaniel was "Maggie."

4 year old Chesapeke Bay Retriever named BUCKY.

I have said for years that when I get my yellow lab, I will name him Ol' Sarge, and call him Sarge. My wife, an Ohio State grad, wants a cholcolate lab, and we'll name him Buckeye.

I miss read the post. If you are looking for suggestions, how about "Dr.Ray".

I named my dog Dixie after the Dixie Chicken.

We have two dogs.

I didn't want the first one, and when I finally "caved", they named him "Aggie" in my honor.

I didn't want the second one either, but I figured it was inevitable that we would get her, so I too a proactive approach. I knew that my younges daughter would probably want to name the dog "Cinderella", so I suggested we name her "Anna Megan" after the children's book, "Anna Megan, An Aggie Cinderella Story".

MAGGIE!!!!

I've got a buddy with a Golden Retriver named Sarge.....he's a bad-ass dog.

One of my other buddies girlfriend's has a Cocker Spaniel named Sully.....no Cocker Spaniel deserves a name that cool.

When my next pup arrives, it will be named Hollick....registered name XXXX's Senior Tradition.
