You sir, have my undying respect for keeping the tradition strong, despite the personal sacrifice each of you had to make to Muster together last night. Indeed, you make the Aggie family proud as you honored so many brave men and women who paid the ultimate price for those of us back home in Aggieland, and across the globe.

I sit now in my office looking at a picture on my wall of Aggie Muster in Corregidor 1946 in which my Dad is pictured. He later gave his all in Korea 2 months before I was born. Now my son Trey (III) is starting A&M this fall (the class of '12 and third generation Aggie). He does not yet realize all that he is being handed by great men of honor like his grandfather and you that serve so we can live freely. Thank you for what you do

Part of me thought it was a stupid risk to go across Baghdad just for Muster. And then when I got on the convoy to head back, there were three other Ags on the Rhino with me who had done the same thing, so I certainly wasn't the only one.
