Most engineers would argue its their respective dynamics/vibrations class. I dunno though, I think all my courses are way too effing hard, so I've just gotten used to it.

Yes...it was MEEN 363 when I took it. I think now civil has its own dynamics & vibrations called CVEN 363 but I could be wrong. Dr Morgan is an ass, how he is allowed to teach at A&M is beyond me.

agree the hardest one is probably some 300 level engineering class.

For me it was a close race between the weedout that was NUEN 202 and the conceptual difficulty of PHYS 408.

Engineering courses are demanding but I wouldn't think that anyone that I have ever taken is the hardest at UT. The hardest I can think of is Real Analysis.

Isn't 141 the pre-req to 142. I thought 142 was more difficult (calculus, I think). For me, it was Cobal337 (I think that is right, it has been a while). It was a programming class. Dropped it once, failed it once and finally switched to the next years catalogue so I could take biology at Blinn instead. Almost delayed my graduation.

The Toms Special. Eating with just that large knife after a few cold ones could be tricky.

Damn I miss that place. Just can't find good food served on wax paper anymore.

If expecting students to do their work makes you an ass then I guess that fits him.

I think the hardest classes would be a 300 or 400 level engineering course for a biology or BIMS major... like wise vice versa with A&P or micro/ biochem for one of them. But within our majors... I dunno lol math 141 was the only class I had to Q-drop but I had Chen and the next semester I took it with Axelson and got an A.... that tells you about the language barrier.

I took it the first semester that civil decided it was going to teach its own MEEN 363 course. So it was the first time Morgan taught the class. He had no idea what he was doing. The book was terrible. Instead of teaching he put a problem on the board and have the class try and work it out. After the class would get stuck he would tell us that it is because we messed up about 15 minutes ago and then I would have to scratch out all the notes I was taking. That semester something like 70% of the class had either q dropped or had to retake the class. There is no way that many students who have already survived the weed out classes should have had to retake an upper level class. I did hear the class continued to get better and I am sure he is better at teaching now. But when I took it...he was a moron. Am I bitter...yes (it was the only class I had to retake at A&M). Can you bite me...yes.

PChem 325 (Truly the hardest lab ever, harder than most classes, I'm talking about 20 page handwritten reports every week)

TBQH the hardest I've taken so far is math 141. It was mostly because it required a different level of input than I put in that semester...

Psssshhhhh. I had to write 15 page typed lab reports every week for PHYS 208 and 218, and those were freshman level classes.

I haven't taken it yet, and Flaith already posted it, but I've heard MEEN 364 (Dynamic Systems & Controls) is pretty tough.
