Somehow got a B, but I don't think I ever once fully understood one topic in that class, I don't think the professor fully understood any of them either.

Who did you have? Girimaji wasn't all that bad when I took it. Material sucked, but he was pretty good.

I can't believe no one has mentioned ACCT229. That is the hardest ***** ever. It is so commonly q-dropped that it is the example on the q-drop form.

I am standing up for P Chem and P Chem Lab. I knew people who took the first semester of P Chem Lab and decided that it would be easier to take a new 400 Level Chem class than take the second semester of the lab. The class is based so far in the theoretical that at one point in the class the prof said that once we had a certain equation we could stop because if we could solve it he would escort us to Stockholm to pick up our Nobel Prize. We regularly had discussions of string theory in the class.

I've heard that Linear Algebra makes Math majors cry...

my husband would probably vote MEEN 364. he had some jerk by the name of Dr. Pulose (sp?) or something and i know he hated that class and it made his life a living hell.

I have met Dr.K, and I agree with True Anomaly. (And all my physics have been calc. based)

The only thing that class taught me was how to waste a perfectly good Q-drop.

EE 444 was a breeze in my day. The fourier transforms only last so long. The Z transforms are cake.

Now Physics 222....that was a nightmare.

i probably thought EE444 was tougher than it was in reality because it wasn't really what i expected. PHYS222 wasn't tough at all for me.

FHK - Mark down another vote for PChem. I was one of the students who changed their major, from a B.S. to a B.A. in CHEM, just so I could avoid taking the second semester PChem lab. The first semester was hell.

ktown, is "Modern Physics" still a reqm't for AERO? I don't remember the course number, but it is all about theory of relativity and other obscure stuff that is not relevant to most AERO work. That was a conceptually difficult experience!

Math 141???? Seriously, I learned what a linear equation and how to do probabilty when I was in junior high. If you think that class is hard, thats just torbush.

I'm suprised nobody has suggested O Chem yet........

Hardest course for me was Organic Chemistry my sophomore year.

Dr. Rose the first semester and Dr. Rakoff the next.

Yeah, I know, things have probably changed in 43 years.



And Campusology was pretty tough my fish year.

what prof are you talking about for Molecular Genetics that curves like and /or causes the whole class to drop a letter grade. that was a tough class and I didn't get a curve - I worked my tail off in that class. Datta didn't curve when I took the class in 2002 I think it was. Who is teaching it these days?

No, they just make us take one of 3 dirrerent courses for our "science" elective. I took the basic astronomy class. It was about as easy of an A as you could imagine. Naturally however the business/education majors in my class struggled. I found it quite interesting/refreshing from the normalcy or AERO classes. If you had Valasek for 421, Cizmas for 351, and Whitcomb for 306 I'm sure you feel my pain. While they might be the best at what they do, they don't give one damn inch on grading.

As a PPA/pre-med guy, i can easily tell you that acct 229 was the easiest class i've ever taken at a&m. You really have to want to try hard not to get a B.

The hardest class i ever took was BICH. That class was a BICH and i am so glad it's over.
