Not sure that it's ever "long enough."
Both of those cases shook the community.

somewhat agree. The name conveys there's a mystery and unsolved conveys that it remains a mystery... but you could call Dateline 'Solved Mysteries' because it starts off as a mystery then gets solved as the show goes on.

My brother came home early on day and looked pale. I said whats wrong. He said that the guy that they know who did the rapes was his roommate at A&M from the year earlier and that Unsolved Mysteries was looking for my brother for an interview. He stayed home for the next couple of days to avoid the tv program.

Turns out his parents helped him leave the state and they were arrested. They found his car at the Little Rock Ark. airport. In 1997 one of the women that was raped was in a grocery checkout line in Dallas, and the friggin checker was the rapist. He saw her and ran but was caught.

He was brought back to College Station for trial and my brother had to be there along with the guys once girlfriend. My brother said that as they walked into the courtroom the guy saw them and stood up trying to give him a habdshake and a hug like nothing was going on. He is now in Huntsville state prison for life. Friggin scumbag.

I remember the toe biter.
