Anyone with experience getting seats back from seat geek that you decide not to sell? A friend is trying to do it but having a hard time. Has anyone gone through this process?

Thanks for any help.

Not sure what you mean by get back. If you sell them out of your 12th man account, they should become available for use/transfer once you take your listing down.

You can delist them on Seat Geeks account.

I delisted some tickets and transferred through 12th man app. I am concerned though. The tickets still show up on seatgeek and give me the option to sell them or transfer them to a Google wallet. Not going to do either of those things but it's concerning that the 12th man app didn't send the info to seatgeek that I no longer own the tickets.

That's really interesting. I hadn't looked, but I still have tickets showing on SeatGeek as well that I had previously listed before transferring them to someone via the 12th man app. That's definitely concerning. I'm not going to use them, but I don't want the person I transferred them to to have an issue at the game.

Listed on SeatGeek as still for sale?! What if someone buys them?

I just played around with some tickets that I had transferred and it looks like although there is an option to list the tickets for sale, but the system won't allow the listing to go through.

Negative. Previously listed. I delisted them so they wouldn't sell and then transferred them. But I find it concerning I seeming have access to them and the ability to sell them if I wanted after transferring them already.

Just another way for someone to get scammed.

That would be good. I clicked to "sell" them to make sure they showed up, but I didn't actually attempt to list them again to go through the full process. That would be good though.

I just talked with reps at 12thman and Seatgeek. I was told by the 12thman foundation that you can call seatgeek to have them removed from their account. Talked with seatgeek and they said that its not possible to remove them, once they are on they are locked in. I brought up the fact that they are still shown in the 12thman account and he mentioned that they are still working through the process in a sense.

My story is that I sent two Auburn tickets to SG and changed my mind when I saw their fee structure, what a rip off. Damn near 50% for buyers and 10% for sellers.

The most concerning thing is that seatgeek mentioned that eventually they will be the primary hub for A&M season tickets. Specifically he talked about the Baltimore Ravens going through the same process from Ticketmaster to them. So I hope this isn't true.. but it could be bye-bye 12thman app for your tickets. Can anyone else confirm or debunk this?

It is shocking to me that the 12th Man would choose a vendor that is going to charge nearly 50% in fees to people reselling their tickets.

Thank you for this info. Was hoping someone followed up on the issue.

Stub Hub was better to sell tickets. One had options to describe seat locations and specifics. Guess A&M is making more money with Seat Geek.

Holy hell. 50% fees??

I've only sold tix thru the TexAgs ticket exchange in a long time. Is that a normal fee in today's world?
